Ingredients & Substitutions
Vital wheat gluten is your secret weapon for this recipe; it’s what gives seitan its chewy texture. If you’re gluten-sensitive, you might want to skip this one. If you can find it, using vegetable broth instead of water can really amp up the flavor.
Tips & Notes
- •I love serving this with homemade hoisin sauce for an extra flavor boost.
- •If you want to add some heat, a dash of sriracha inside the wrap can be delightful!
Recipe Variations
- •Sometimes I’ll add some grated carrots to the wrap for a nice crunch.
- •You can experiment with different spices and marinades to create your own unique version!
Storage & Freezing
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. You can reheat them in a pan or microwave, but I recommend frying them again for that crispy texture.
Frequently Asked Questions
